Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Snitch. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Last updated 4 September 2026
1Who you are contracting with
Snitch is operated by Snitch Intelligence Ltd, with its registered office in London, United Kingdom. “We”, “us” and “Snitch” mean that company. “You” means the person or organisation using the service.
2The service
Snitch searches publicly visible conversations for keywords you choose, categorises what it finds, and drafts replies for your review. Snitch does not post anything on your behalf unless a person with access to your workspace approves that specific action.
We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you materially depend on, we will give reasonable notice to the email on your account.
3Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by your team members, your API keys and any AI agent you connect. Keep credentials secret. Tell us promptly at hello@heysnitch.com if you believe a credential has been exposed.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use Snitch if we have previously terminated your account.
4Acceptable use
You agree not to use Snitch to:
- harass, stalk, dox or target a private individual;
- build a profile of a person for surveillance rather than to manage your own brand;
- break the terms of any platform Snitch reads on your behalf, or circumvent their rate limits or access controls;
- post content that is unlawful, deceptive, or impersonates someone else;
- resell raw collected data as a dataset;
- probe, scan or overload our infrastructure, or attempt to access another workspace’s data.
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is doing any of these, and will tell you why.
5Content and approvals
You own what you write and what you approve. A drafted reply is a suggestion produced by an automated system; it may be wrong, and reviewing it is your responsibility. Once you approve it, the reply is yours and you are accountable for it, including under the rules of the platform it is posted to.
You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process and transmit your content in order to run the service.
6Third-party platforms
Snitch reads from and, on your approval, writes to services we do not control, including Reddit, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Slack and Linear. Their availability, terms and rate limits are theirs, not ours. If a platform changes or withdraws access, the corresponding Snitch feature may stop working, and that alone is not a breach of these terms.
7Plans, billing and limits
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on the cycle shown at checkout. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of mentions and a keyword limit. When you reach the allowance, collection pauses until the next period; we do not charge overages and we do not delete your data.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
8Free trial
New workspaces get a fixed allowance of free mentions with no card required. The trial stops on its own when the allowance runs out. We may change or end the trial offer for new signups at any time.
9Availability
We aim to keep Snitch running but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on standard plans. Planned maintenance will be announced where practical.
10Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account for a material breach of these terms, for non-payment after notice, or if required by law. On termination we will delete or anonymise your account content and workspace data within 30 days. We retain limited approval, audit and billing records for the periods described in our Privacy Policy, or longer where the law requires.
11Warranties and liability
Snitch is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you use Snitch as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use Snitch after that date means you accept the new version.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief where its intellectual property is at risk. If you use Snitch as a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
